was the outcome of this first UK Convention
of the Encaustic Art Teaching Network

John Buckland arrives to set up fo his excellent demonstrations John starts work and everyone is intensly absorbed
Iron and hotplate combined tissue over hotplate landscape ...it's all so interesting
 Hot air applied to a heated undercard - hot stuff! John's developed these hot tissue rubbing techniques into a fine art ..and so it went on for most of 2 days - excellent show John.

Michael Bossom (featured artist) also demonstrated
a variety of ideas, materials and techniques but he
also took all the pictures so never got in front of
the camera this time round.

...The work area is in an open public space .. but everyone is too busy to notice the surroundings
..and there are hot tools, wax and hands everywhere hot air, hot plates, hot irons, hot stuff!  and finally it was time to leave
