Joe took an interest in art from a very early age. Whilst
a teenager he won a scholarship to the famous Glasgow School of Art. He
has been a resident in Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, UK since 1966 and an active
member of their art society since 1983. Joe now works predominantly in
coloured beeswax encaustic paints, producing a unique collection of artwork
in many differing styles.
