Poster: encaustic collection  (see this users gallery)

one of a set of twelve images created for a greetings card range at the start of the 1990's. the printed reproduction cards were all A5 images (148 x 210mm). this "foxglove" was created by making the sky on the hotplate, then blowing it into a smoother form using a hot air gun. The landscape was made with the iron and the finer details were added with the stylus. the path was created with the scribing tool.
