the unicorn stamp was used to work directly into the wax for this image. first the iron was converted into a mini hotplate then the wax colour melted on. the stamp was "puddled" in this wax to become evenly coated & whilst the card was still warm tissue was wiped over the wax to create the light streaking background. the stamp was then placed back on the card, in the correct position, with the card resting on the mini hotplate iron & the wax on the stamp melted back off onto the card. the edging was done by adding more wax to the border areas whilst held over the heated mini hotplate, the stamp was used to dab in the various marks on the border area, even the lines drawn in parallel to the edges.
