encaustic collection Registered: September 2006 Location: Wales, UK based Posts: 96	this rubber stamped subject, using black dye ink so that it can be waxed over, involves multiple use of the same dolphin stamp image. the spiral of blue wax seems to bring some life to it and break up the monotony of the repeated dolphins. a black border using a permanent spirit type marker pen helps finish it off. the square format suits the round positioning of the dolphins too. the specks in the wax are dust, so work as cleanly as possible.
