Once you learn to fluently create this image you will have grasped some of the fundamental strokes and techniques of using the heated iron as an applicator for the wax colours. Master this one and you are well on your way!


The structure of this 2 colour landscape relies on the 3 band approach - Sky, Distance in Background and finally the Foreground detail.
