no.13 red brown wax has been spread over the white card, then the iron placed and lifted in a mirrored reflection where the iron point was on the centre line to locate it. the marks were made down one side of the card first, then the card turned and another similar reflection set were done. some added at the ends too. next, similar to the jagged spiral techniques, the iron's curved edge was placed about 20mmm in from the edge and a sawing action made right across the area, stopping about 20mm from the other edge. repeated on all 4 sides, this is a simple alternative border idea for cards.
