An experiment in working with a limited "warm colour" palette was the starting point of this work. The final piece came into being in a morning and continues to provide a satisfying result that can offer something new every time it is viewed with an open mind.

method: The large metal knife surfaces were loaded with molten wax from the iron or hotplate then with the hot air warming the canvas surface the knives deposited their colour in the rectangular form shapes.
