Poster: encaustic collection  (see this users gallery)

This started out as a small rough drawing that just held the idea of the shape of the dragon's head and the flow of its tail.


The blown wax background created a space in which to place the conceived image of the Dragon. The Egyptian style "face" that appeared just above and to left of the castle area (upper left) was totally incidental - one of those fascinating materializations that the wax sometimes produces unexpectedly!
