encaustic collection Registered: September 2006 Location: Wales, UK based Posts: 101	This fascinating piece of encaustic collage work was created live and filmed especially for the "Exploring Ideas in Encaustic Art" DVD. You can watch it on this program. Anna-Maria uses hot air gun, iron, palletta, combes, sponges, white block sponge and even a stocking pad for polishing. The piece is done onto MDF board with some of the wax acting as a tacking glue for the collaged paper pieces that have made up the main detailed middle section. see a bit more about how this was created here
