Just a quick summer update about what we are doing at www.encaustic.com

WANTED : 4 people to appear on the TV show in Peterborough Studios with Michael & Shona on September 11th 2003 - simple experience is fine - no high skills are necessary, just an enthusiastic enjoyment of encaustic art. The studio will not pay anything, so it is just an interesting day out, but it is good fun to be on the TV! The aim is to inspire and encourage others to buy and try encaustic art. Are you interested? If yes then ...

1) We are looking to film a 60 minute pre-recorded show that will run for a while up to Christmas and be shown many times (become a known face on the TV!)
2) On the same day we will be doing a live 2 hour show with Alan & Barry - could be fun and a live show is always stimulating.

PASTEL: mint/cream/Flesh Base
REGULAR: Magenta, Cyan Blue, Middle Yellow, Bright Red, Purple, Sap Green, Indigo

HOTPLATE: I have finally found a HOTPLATE that should work fine for our needs with the blocks. It is stainless steel, 520mm x 350mm work area (bigger than A3) with a built in thermostat and could be here by Christmas if things go well.
